Web server: web hosting on Windows servers (2000/2003/2008/2011) with support for classic ASP (Active Server Pages). In fact any version of Windows with IIS will do fine.
Databases: all windows servers support MS Access. If you want to use mySQL or SQL Server then check if they are available in your hosting plan.
Email components: at least one of the following; CDO(SYS), CDONTS, Persits AspEmail (or AspEmail), Soft Artisans Smtp mail, Jmail, Server Objects ASPMail, Dundas Mail, aspSmartMail, Bamboo smtp, OCX mail, EasyMail.
If you hosted on Windows 2000/2003 servers then CDO/CDONTS are already installed on the server. Contact us or your Host if you are not sure. In Windows 2008/11 CDO is not installed by default. However, In shared hosting plans you will find it installed.
If you have a dedicated server you can download it from Microsoft and install it.
The online html editor of the administration panel works with any modern browser like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera. Please note that certain secondary features of the html editor vary per browser.

Your subscribers of course can use any type of browser to subscribe/un-subscribe and view the on-line newsletters archive and privacy page.

In order to run Npro Bounce Manager you need Newsletter Manager Pro v.9.xx (or earlier) and either one of these pop3 components installed on your server:

Chilkat Email ActiveX by Chilkat Software, Inc. (This component is provided by us, licensed, at no extra cost for you).
AspPOP3 by ServerObjects Inc.
w3JMail v 4.4 professional edition by Dimac Development. License prices starting from USD 75.00 (may change) .
DynuPOP3 professional edition by Dynu Systems Inc.

These components are widely popular among hosting companies. Therefore it is quite likely that they are already installed on your server. You can ask your host about them but you can also check if they are installed directly from your Newsletter Manager Pro administration panel (Menu > Add-ons > Bounce manager).

The Windows service component of the NPro scheduler is built using Microsoft.net 3.5 framework (also available in .net 2.0) You need Microsoft.net framework 3.5 (or .net 2.0) installed on the server where the Windows service will be installed. Can also be installed on a different machine (other than where NPro is installed). And in some cases it can be replaced by another scheduling utility that some Hosts provide.

Shared hosting environments

In order to install the Windows service in a shared server/host you will need your host's permission.

Dedicated servers

You run your own server and you have full control of what to install.

PHP version: greater than 5.2. mySQL greater than 5.0.

You can use nuevoMailer on any web server that supports PHP. You also need a mySQL database.

This includes Linux servers, any Windows with IIS or Apache and PHP, Sun with Apache, Mac OS with Apache.

Linux servers

The campaign scheduler of nuevoMailer is designed to use the Cron feature of Linux servers (and other flavors of Unix-like operating systems like Mac OS X). If you are in a shared host you must check whether you have cron access and be able to create cron jobs. 99% of shared hosts will offer you cron access.

In Windows servers we provide you with an application that you install on the host server and works as a Windows service. It behaves like cron, making requests to your nuevoMailer installation checking if there are any tasks for execution. However, in a shared host it is unlikely that they will accept to install it. It's perfect if you use a dedicated server.
Note also that you can also install this service on a different host and not necessarily where nuevoMailer is installed (even in your own pc).
